The highlight of my trip was being able to listen to top execs from fashion companies talk about various aspects of running a luxury company. I learned a lot from the CEO of Kate Spade, who talked about consolidating all the acquisitions of Kate Spade and turning the company around. The conference is suitable for marketing students interested in branding, as well as general BCom students. There is lots to learn about running all aspects of a company, from marketing to finance. Overall, the trip provided useful insight for my research project.
